When you head out for an evening of family fun at the bowling alley, leave your gun at home. Last night, a man in Jupiter, FL accidentally shot himself at Jupiter Lanes when his bowling ball somehow made contact with the loaded gun he just so happened to be carrying in his pocket. Eye-witnesses who thought the sound was a firecracker (inside the bowling alley?) until they saw the injured man hobble back to his seat, clutching his leg.
Jim Miller, who watched it all go down, said the man's back swing struck his leg. Sounds like he either needs to work on his mechanics, or leave the gun at home. Or both. The man was treated at a local hospital where he's recovering.
