Kick Ass 2 isn't set to hit theaters until August, but start getting excited now - the first official red-band trailer has been released.
From the looks of things, the film is going to focus on Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz), and their team of superhero buddies (including Jim Carrey's character, Colonel Stars and Stripes) a few years after the events of the first film. McLovin', otherwise known as Christopher Mintz-Plasse, is back, but this time he's the main villain, and his name is The Mother Fucker instead of Red Mist. Probably because Red Mist sounds like a soft drink that NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would try to ban. This is going to be awesome.
