Last night on the red carpet, Ne-Yo confirmed he is in talks to join the judges panel on the American version of The X-Factor. The singer has previously been a judge on the UK show.
"Nothing is set in stone yet right yet. It's talks," he told Ryan Seacrest. Last month he said he'd been having "lunches and dinners" with producers about it. The X Factor is in need of some new judges since Britney Spears announced her exit after only one season; super producer LA Reid is also leaving after two seasons.
Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell are still there, and we think Ne-Yo would be a good contrast to the famously cantankerous Cowell. But who will fill the fourth spot?
Ne-Yo was nominated for a Grammy last night but lost out to Skrillex.
