We can't even guess what insanity Ryan Murphy has in store for American Horror Story season 3. Plus it'll be all new characters again, so where would we even start?
Kathy Bates is joining the cast as Jessica Lange's best friend who turns on her. Murphy hasn't really revealed much else, but he says that Lange will be a "glamour-cat leading lady" this season, which will be set in the modern day (unlike the current season) but somehow will be "more historical in nature." We won't even try to decipher that.
Bates won an Oscar in 1990 for her performance as a psychopathic fan who imprisons her favorite author (James Caan) in Stephen King's Misery. We'll think she'll fit in just fine over at AHS.
