Okay, so Minecraft isn't literally replacing math (although it probably should—when was the last time you used trigonometry in your adult life?). But 13-year-old students at a Swedish school are going to be playing the game as part of their normal curriculum.
"They learn about city planning, environmental issues, getting things done, and even how to plan for the future," Viktor Rydberg teacher Monica Ekman told The Local. "It's not any different from arts or woodcraft."
That it's not. Except for all the lava and Creepers. Did your school have anything remotely this cool? The closest ours came was ceramics.
