XIII is one of those games that came out a generation ago and has been on our list ever since. We own the Xbox or PS2 version (or something), but we're not even sure if it will work on the consoles we currently own, since backwards compatibility is not as reliable as it used to be. And even if it did, it would probably look all jaggy on our big-ass TV.
Getting the stylized comics-like shooter on PC is the perfect solution, but there's a wrench in that plan: as of Tuesday, it will no longer be available on GOG. So we're going to pick it up now for $2.99 before it's too late, and we suggest you do the same.
