Trent Reznor, frontman of Nine Inch Nails, released details in a recent interview with The New Yorker about a new music service he's developing with Beats by Dre.
As of now, the music service is known as Daisy, although Pitchfork hinted that the service is subject to a name change. In The New Yorker interview, Reznor explained how Daisy would directly compete with Spotify:
None
Earlier this year, Beats purchased the steaming music service MOG but it remains to be seen whether the service will have anything to do with Daisy, which is expected to launch early 2013.
