Katie Holmes's "Dead Accounts" Closing on Broadway in January After Disappointing Run

Sorry, Katie.

None

Bad news for Katie Holmes: The New York Times is reporting that the actress's first starring project since her high-profile divorce from Tom Cruise, the Broadway play Dead Accounts, is set to close on January 6th, after just 27 previews and 44 regular performances. Along with Holmes, the play also starred Norbert Leo Butz, and was directed by Jack O'Brien.

Though unfortunate, this isn't much of a surprise to anyone who's been following the production's run - the Theresa Rebeck play faced poor reviews, and has been struggling in the box office since its premiere in late November.

Welp. Better get started on that Dawson's Creek reunion now, Katie - before it's too late.
