Austin Noodle House Owner Angers Many With Comments About Sandy Hook Shooting

A quick way to lose customers.

Eddie Nimibutr, the owner of Austin's Thai Noodle House, is currently in the hot seat because of racially-charged Facebook comments about Friday's tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Shortly after the shooting, Nimibutr wrote, "I don't care if a bunch of white kids got killed."

"Fuck Post-Racial bullshit. When kids from minority groups get shot, nobody cares. When Israel launched missiles at the school on Gaza, everybody was too busy jerking off. Why should i care about people who dont give a damn about me?" he added.

Nimibutr says that people responded with violent threats. In an effort to clear up his earlier comments, he said, "I have stated throughout the years in my beliefs with millions in cut to mental health programs, school programs, after school programs." He continued:

None

When that didn't ease tempers, Nimibutr offered one last quote:

None

Nimibutr appears to be taking a leave of absence from the restaurant, saying, "I think It's time for me to get out of this city for awhile for a nice hike down south."
