OK, everyone can put down the pitchforks - it looks like that potential Broadway musical about Kurt Cobain and Nirvana that Sam Lufti claimed he was working on with Courtney Love isn't happening after all. In response to Lufti's statements, which he made while testifying on the witness stand for his now tossed-out lawsuit against his former client Britney Spears, Love told The Guardian in no uncertain terms that the musical isn't happening. "Sometimes," she said of the project, "it's best to leave things alone."

Weird to hear those words coming from her, considering this is the same woman who waged a one-sided Twitter war against her daughter Frances Bean Cobain and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl in which she accused them of having an affair, but hey, as long as this musical isn't happening, we'll take it.
