In a development that should surprise absolutely no one, the final installment of the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Pt. 2, is continuing to top box offices worldwide just three days after its release. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film has earned $141.3 million domestically, and $199.6 million internationally, bringing its worldwide total to an impressive $340.9 million - and counting.

The weekend total falls slightly short of previous installment New Moon, which earned $142.8 million on this same weekend in 2009, but it's still more than Breaking Dawn Pt. 1's earnings of $138.1 million on this same weekend last year.

Overall, it's been a great weekend for the box office apart from Twilight - the newest James Bond film, Skyfall, closed the weekend with a worldwide total of $699.2 million, and the newly wide-released Lincoln managed to outperform predictions and earn a total of $21 million this weekend alone.
