One of the issues that was brought up amidst harsh criticisms of Apple's relationship with the workers who assemble its devices in China was the cruel irony of the fact that many of those workers could never attain those same devices for themselves. Well Apple goods have now officially arrived in Shenzhen, with Apple recently opening a store specifically for the Foxconn workers there. In the video above, hundreds of workers eagerly line up at the store opening in a scene familiar to any number of Apple Store launches around the world. White earbuds and planned obsolescence for all.
