Hassan Ali of Vermont was busted for marijuana possession twice in just one hour. Ali was arrested, issued a citation, and released on Saturday after he was found with weed along with two other people in an apartment building. At the station, police realized that one of the other people—20-year-old Amanda Bevins—had a warrant out for her arrest. When they returned to lock her up, they discovered that Ali had purchased more weed in the hour since they had last seen him.
He was arrested and taken to jail again, while police still accomplished what they came to do—arrest Bevins. The second bust of Ali was icing on the cake, but more likely a hassle than anything else. Ali pleaded not guilty to marijuana possession charges. Good luck, dude.
