Peanuts is coming to the big screen - because, why not? According to Deadline, Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios announced their plans to turn the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip into a feature-length film, with Ice Age: Continental Drift co-director Steve Martino attached to direct. Schulz's grandson, Craig Schulz, is set to pen the script.
As for details on the film, no much in way of plot has been said, but it has been revealed that the release date, November 25th, 2015, is set to coincide with the comic strip's 65th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the It's a Charlie Brown Christmas TV special.
