Despite the fact that Ben Affleck's critically-acclaimed, Oscar-buzzed film Argo opened strong with $20.1 million earned domestically this weekend, it was the Liam Neeson-starring Taken 2 that took the top spot at the box ofice this weekend for the second week in a row. The film earned a solid $22 million this weekend, putting its cumulative domestic earnings at about $86 million.

As for other films that opened this weekend, Sinister debuted at #3 with $18.8 million - amazing numbers when you take into account that it cost $3 million to make - Here Comes the Boom at #5 with $12 million, and Seven Psychopaths at an unfortunate #9 with only $3.5 million earned.
