Bad news for Gerard Butler's next film, Motor City: Deadline is reporting that production has been halted after its financial backers - Emmett/Furla Films, Envision Entertainment, and Mark Damon’s Foresight Entertainment - concluded that the movie would not be able to make the "drop dead" release date set by studio Warner Bros. As a result, they were unable to get a bond for the film.

Reportedly, producers are still hoping to make the film, but, as Deadline puts it, "they have to do some work under the hood of Motor City to put it all back together again."
