The Google Play store today hit a pretty big milestone. The store, which is home to over 675,000 Android apps and games, has reached the 25 billion app download mark. And to show its users how appreciative it is for their continued patronage, Goolge is having a huge sale. Apps from big-name developers like Gameloft, Electronic Arts, Rovio, and more will only cost 25 cents.

For comparison purposes, Google Play's counterpart, the Apple App Store, launched in 2008, reached the 25 billion milestone in March of this year. To celebrate the achievement Apple awarded $10,000 to its 25 billionth customer, Chunli Fu of China.

The Google Play sale started yesterday and will run for the next four days, so head over to the Google Play store now to take advantage of the deals.
