AnnaLynne McCord hosted this year's "Life Is Love" event in Los Angeles on Sept. 22. The annual event benefits the Somaly Man Foundation, an organization that seeks to end human trafficking and slavery across the globe, which McCord has been involved with for a few years. The 90210 star shared an emotional speech with the audience during which the actress revealed that she had been sexually assaulted in her past.

"Has anyone ever been raped? Sexually abused? Not said 'no' when you felt you didn't have the right to?" she asked during the speech. "I know what it feels like."

Her 90210 co-stars including Jessica StroupMatt LanterShenae GrimesJustin Deeley and Ryan Eggold came out to support the 25-year-old actress. After the event, E! News spoke with McCord who says she had an experience similar to what the girls, who the foundation aims to help, experience nearly 20 times a night.

"It happened to me once by somebody that I knew, and it is a very interesting thing to feel that you do not have the voice to say 'no,'" McCord says. "It wasn't an attack or anything like that—I just had no voice. I did not know how to say, 'I don't want this. Please do not do this to me.'"

McCord hopes that having a voice will encourage other women to do the same, and we hope so too.
