Matt Levine and the Brandsway Creative team rented out a Chinatown mall, along with Red Bull to throw a massive house party called #LESbeat: One Night in Chinatown from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. on August 30. Here's the catch, though: the venue, DJs, and performers are all being kept under wraps. The upside is that the event is free and there's an open bar all night long. To get tickets, the video instructs you to hit up your "local L.E.S. connect."
The event will be staffed by the team at Lower East Side hotspot Sons of Essex, and all door donations will go to Lower East Side charity Grand Street Settlement. Also, the word on the street is that two items from the yet-to-open Cocktail Bodega menu will be unveiled. Oh, and there might also be inflatable furniture. Mix what you don't know with the great things you already know about and expect the Lower East Side to be rockin' next Thursday.
