Big news: According to MTV, a follow-up to Ridley Scott's wildly successful, wildly epic film, Prometheus, is officially in the works - confirmed by the Fox president of production herself, Emma Watts.

Reportedly, the film is slated for a 2014 or 2015 release, so it'll definitely be a while before we have any definitive news about plot and everything, but here's what we do know: Ridley Scott will remain on board, stars Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace have both signed on to the film, and Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof - who wrote the first film - may not write the screenplay because of scheduling conflicts.

According to Watts, "Ridley is incredibly excited about the movie, but we have to get it right... We can't rush it."

Are you excited to see a Prometheus sequel?
