On the eve of the official release of iconic filmmaker Oliver Stone’s new hardcore crime-thriller Savages (in theaters everywhere tomorrow), get your last up-close-and-personal look at “Ben,” the film’s primary marijuana grower/dealer, played by Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass). In Savages, which is based on author Don Winslow’s novel of the same name, Johnson and Taylor Kitsch (Battleship), as “Chon,” star as two peaceful drug pushes whose mutual girlfriend, “Ophelia” (Blake Lively) gets kidnapped by the Mexican cartel, after Ben and Chon refuse to go into business with them.

In the fifth and final edition of Johnson’s “Interrogation Series” videos, all of which were directed by Stone himself, Ophelia’s dire situation is formally introduced, setting up the movie’s biggest narrative puzzle piece just in time for us to see how Ben and Chon take action. And, if we can trust the popular critics consensus, the brutal ways in which they do that won’t disappoint.

To learn about the rest of the Savages characters, head on over to LA Confidential for “Chon” (Kitsch), AskMen for “Ophelia” (Lively), HuffPost Entertainment for “Lado” (Benicio del Toro), and Made Man for “Elena” (Salma Hayek). And see how it all goes down on July 6th, when Savages, which you can learn more about the movie’s official site, opens in theaters nationwide.
