According to Deadline, Jackie Earle Haley has joined the cast of director Jose Padilha'sRobocop remake. In the movie he will play Maddox, the man in charge of training Robocop (Joel Kinnaman) for his mission. Haley will be joining a cast that also includes Gary Oldman, Hugh Laurie, Samuel L. Jackson, and Abbie Cornish.
The cast so far is absolutely stacked as Padilha attempts to prove to the world that another Robocop movie is necessary. And he should have no problem doing so with the actors that he has assembled.
Robocop will hit theaters on August 9, 2013.
