*sigh* You knew it was only a matter of time, right? A billboard popped up in Idaho that attempts to connect President Obama to the shooting in Aurora, CO. One side features a picture of shooter James Holmes, with the the caption "Kills 12 in a movie theater with assault rifle, everyone freaks out." The other side shows a picture of Obama, along with the text "Kills thousands with foreign policy, wins Nobel Peace Prize."
The billboard was created by the Ralph Smeed Foundation, and insists that it wasn't trying to make a direct connection between Holmes and Obama. Here's how one member, Maurice Clements, explains the billboard:
