It was recently announced that the old Bob's Furniture store (2500 Central Park Ave.) in Yonkers, N.Y., will be transformed into an Alamo Drafthouse later this year.
Those in the know (but not living in Yonkers) will be biting their knuckles, well aware that the Drafthouse offers one of the best movie-watching experiences in America. Excellent programming, draft beer, food. Folks using phones get tossed. This is how it should be.
The Upper West Side will be getting a Drafthouse later this year, too. Brooklyn continues to mourn.
