This is precisely why weed smokers should stick to the real thing. After smoking synthetic marijuana, 22-year-old Michael Daniel flipped out, running around on all fours and barking like a dog before attacking his family and neighbors. He then squared off with the family dog, beating and choking it before biting off chunks of the animal’s flesh.

When police finally caught up with him, he was sitting on the front porch with his hands, face, and clothes covered with blood. After taking him to a hospital, he was arrested on felony animal cruelty charges. The poor dog died from the injuries.

We aren’t condoning drug use here, but folks, if you’re going to do them, take the Half Baked approach: Don’t do drugs—just weed, and make sure it’s official.
