As we patiently wait to find out whether or not The Amazing Spider-Man is a proper reboot for the Wall Crawler, Columbia Pictures has released a brand-new clip from the film that shows off a different side of Spidey. Here it looks like Spider-Man has put his detective hat on as he tries to track down the Lizard in the sewers of Manhattan by using his webs to search for any strange vibrations.
We're getting a real Alien vibe in this clip as director Marc Webb has seemingly brought some much-needed elements of horror to this film. If the rest of the movie is as dynamic and genre-blending as this piece of footage, then we think it's safe to say that the property is in good hands.
