Director Darren Aronofsky's biblical epic, Noah, is getting close to landing its villain as Deadline is reporting that Ray Winstone has been offered the yet-unnamed role in the movie. The film is supposed to be an adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah and the great flood. However, we don't remember any real villain in that story unless you consider God or the water itself to be the main antagonist.
Either way, this means that we'll get to see Winstone go toe-to-toe against Russell Crowe during the flick, who has already been cast as Noah. The site is also reporting that Jennifer Connelly is being considered to play Noah's wife, which would reunite her with A Beautiful Mind co-star Crowe. This is certainly shaping up to be one of those projects that sounds so ludicrous that it might just work.
