According to DeadlineKim Peirce's Carrie remake just added two new actresses to the film - Youth in Revolt's Portia Doubleday, and The Descendants's Judy Greer. They join Chloë Moretz, who is set to portray Carrie, and Julianne Moore who is set to portray Carrie's mother, in the cast.

As for their roles: Greer will be Carrie's high school gym teacher who defends her from the mean girls at her high school, and Doubleday will portray Chris Hargensen, one of the said mean girls who ends up setting off Carrie's telekinetic powers at the prom after the iconic pig's blood scene.
