Decking out your place with light dimmers will set you back a lot of coin, but thanks to Insteon you can now upgrade any light source in your crib for just $30 with its new Remote Control LED Bulb

Here's how it works: Each bulb is equipped with a dual-band technology that allows it to act as a network repeater, and radio-frequency technology that allows it to communicate with a number of different devices like switches and dimmers.

It gets cooler when you employ Insteon's SmartLinc, a device that plugs into a free socket and allows your web-enabled smartphone to control the LED Bulb.

If you want to add a little light automation to your home, head to the Insteon website to cop one of the 8 watt bulbs.
