Though it was never officially announced, Freida Pinto has apparently joined the cast of Terrence Malick's upcoming film Knight of Cups as a new love interest for Christian Bale's character. According to Vulture, Pinto has been spotted on set recently, filming closely with Bale. Both Natalie Portman and Cate Blanchett were previously cast as his love interests as well, and Imogen Poots and Isabel Lucas are also somehow involved. Love hexagon?
As for why Malick never announced the casting news, we're not sure - if it was supposed to be a secret, no one did a very good job of keeping it one, did they?
