After months of anticipation and rumors, Samsung has announced the next entry in its flagship line of Galaxy S phones. The Galaxy S III will be coming to America in June.
Unveiled today at the Samsung's "Unboxed" event in London, the Galaxy S III is the largest Galaxy phone to date with a 4.8 inch 720p display. That makes the screen less than half an inch smaller than the company's Galaxy Note "phablet." The Galaxy S III also introduces a variety of smart features, like the ability to recognize voice commands. In addition, will follow your eye movements to know whether or not to dim the screen during usage.
In a new commercial, Samsung is positioning the phone to have the broadest possible appeal with the tagline "Made for Humans." It will be available in at least two colors: white and dark grey. No word yet on price or carrier availability.
