It's been a while since the last decent 2D Castlevania game was released, so the announcement of a new one for Nintendo's 3DS wouldn't be terribly surprising.
Then again, there hasn't really been an announcement. But the Dutch site N1ntendo posted some information about a game called Castlevania: Mirror of Faith earlier today, and Konami asked the site to take the info down, noting that the game is actually called Castlevania: Mirror of Fate, a domain name currently registered to the company.
But shh! It doesn't exist yet.
Mirror of Fate will likely be unveiled at E3 next month, so we'll keep an eye out for it once we hit the show floor. In the meantime, tell us what you want from a new Castlevania game in the comments or on Twitter.
