It's been almost three weeks since MCA passed away, and fans of the Beastie Boys are still reeling. Some local residents of Brooklyn Heights, where Adam Yauch grew up, want to honor his legacy and influence permanently by renaming Squibb Park after Yauch.
The park is being turned into a skateboarding facility, which adds to the appropriateness of the gesture (as if it needed any more reason). Support the cause by going to the Facebook page and liking it. Adam Yauch Park would be sick.
