The movie might not even be in theaters yet, but that isn't stopping Universal Pictures from already thinking about milking the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman into a franchise. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Universal Studios President Ron Meyer expressed interest in filming a spin-off that focuses on Chris Hemsworth's character of The Huntsman.
What isn’t known is whether or not Kristen Stewart or Charlize Theron would reprise their roles as Snow White or the evil Queen Ravenna respectively. But if they’re trying to concentrate more on Hemsworth’s Huntsman character, we wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the only one that returns. Of course this all depends on if Snow White and the Huntsman actually makes a profit at the box office, but from what we have seen so far, there is definitely some potential here.
Snow White and the Huntsman will hit theaters on June 1.
