The Pokemon strategy game revealed back in February has been confirmed for a US release, and though the title's being changed from Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition to Pokemon Conquest, it's still the first Nobunaga game to hit the US.

The game will mesh the world of Pokemon with a mythological version of feudal Japan and isometric tactics-based strategy battles. Elements from the Pokemon games—like elemental strengths and weaknesses and around 200 of the familiar monsters—will make it over as well.

We're pumped the game is getting a US release, as there were some doubts. It lands in June; are you excited for a more unique Pokemon spin-off? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
