LinkedIn released its first iPad app yesterday—along with updated iPhone and Android versions—greatly expanding on the site’s minimalist design with a bevy of new features specifically tailored to the tablet experience. Beginning at the main menu, users are greeted with three icon options: updates, profile, and inbox. The latter two are more straightforward offerings compared to “updates,” which features a Flipboard-esque interface. Here, users experience the full breadth of the app, seeing  relevant news stories, an integrated calendar via Google or Exchange, and activity from other users and friends—specifically who’s viewed your profile. It’s networking made effortless.
