In case there was any doubt, Apple's retail stores are killing it. It's not just the company as a whole that's thriving, or any one of its coveted products in a vacuum— the actual retail outlets themselves are driving industry-shattering numbers.
According to recent data from the researchers at RetailSails, well known American retailers like Urban Outfitters, Best Buy and Whole Foods brought in between $500 and $900 of sales per square foot in the previous four quarters. Legacy jewelry seller Tiffany & Co. was unsurprisingly well ahead of that pack at about $3,000 per square foot. But Apple? They doubled Tiffany's numbers, topping the list by a wide margin with $6,000 in sales per square foot.
From a retailer's perspective, Apple products are literally worth more than jewels.
