While we appreciate Rockstar taking the time to describe Max Payne 3's multiplayer component, we're not sure they needed to go into quite this much detail. "The goal throughout development has been to utilize the strengths of a third-person perspective that allows players to connect with a character that they can see, while still retaining full fluid control during gunplay," the narrator says.

"Using guns, players will shoot at one another. If their virtual bullets strike their targets, the targets will lose health." So we made that last part up. Whatever. This sounds like it was written by someone trying to explain third person shooters to a Fox News anchor.

As far as bullet time, Payne's signature ability, being used in multiplayer, we're not sure we're going to relish the experience of having our movements turned to molasses because another play is pointing his or her weapon at us.

We could be wrong, of course. How's the multiplayer look to you? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
