The British edition of Esquire has a scorcher on their hands. Freida Pinto covers their April issue, and, wow, yeah, just look at the accompanying photo spread. That's something.

Stateside, last year we saw Freida in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and "Immortals," but she has another film, "Trishna," which has been making waves mostly on the festival circuit and is due in theaters on March 9th in the UK and in limited release in the United States on May 18th.

Directed by Michael Winterbottom, the film is Indian reworking of Thomas Hardy's novel "Tess of the Durbevilles," but most importantly to us, it features a nude scene!

"It was hard but it was a small crew, and they were good at not making their presence felt," Freida told Esquire about shooting the scene. "They didn’t go, 'Quick! She’s nearly naked! Get your camera out!'"

But don't count on Pinto doing too many nude scenes. For her, they have to have a purpose.

"If you’re just doing a nude scene in order for everyone to, like, wack off or something, then that’s not my thing at all," she says.
