During a recent interview with Playboy Magazine, comedian David Cross made a pretty startling revelation: He did cocaine at the 2009 White House Correspondents' Dinner, with President Barack Obama sitting only a few feet away. Ballsy doesn't even begin to cover it.

"It wasn't even that much cocaine. It was literally the size of, I don't know, a tick," Cross explained to the magazine. "I ducked under the table and did it. It wasn’t like I got high. The jolt was similar to licking an empty espresso cup. It wasn't about that. It was just about being able to say that I did it, that I did cocaine in the same room as the President."

If this story sounds familiar, that's because Cross has told it before during his stand-up routines - it's just never been clear whether or not he was being serious. In 2009 during a performance, Cross said that he did it as a part of a bet with a friend to top each other with "dares and outrageousness." Clearly, they don't mess around when it comes to their bets.

Cross admitted that he's neither proud nor ashamed that he did cocaine with the President of the United States on the room, but did add that he's sorry his actions may have brought his girlfriend, Amber Tamblyn, down by association. Tamblyn had invited Cross to the event to attend as her plus-one.

"I was her date, her plus-one, and she got dragged through the mud because of what I did,” he said. “She had nothing to do with it. She didn’t know I was going to do it. And because of that, she’ll never be invited to the White House again. That’s not cool."
