RIM Gets A New CEO Who Doesn’t Want To Change Much

Future not bright for Blackberry.

None

With Research In Motion perpetually in decline, it seemed as if a change was sorely needed. The company finally rid of their questionable co-CEO leadership, ousting Jim Balsillie and Mike Lazarides and handing over the reins to former COO Thorsten Heins.

Getting past the immense failure of the Blackberry Playbook tablet and the BB’s antiquated hardware and software may prove to be Heins’ biggest tests. However, a dramatic overhaul of the company isn’t in the cards, after Heins stated during a press conference, “I don’t think there is a drastic change needed. We are evolving.” Right.
