It's Basically Ashton Kutcher's Fault That "Two and a Half Men" Is Still On The Air

This is why we can't have nice things.

Most disappointing news of the day: According to Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre at the series' Television Critics Association event, he almost ended the show when main star Charlie Sheen went off the deep end and was fired from his role. Lorre changed his mind, however, when they decided to casually look for a new star and ended up signing Ashton Kutcher.

"We never imagined we would be in a position to consider it any other way. It looked as slightly impossible and ridiculous thing to do," Lorre said of his initial thoughts of continuing the show without Sheen.

Yes, that's right. Two and a Half Men almost ended its annoying run on television, but thanks to Ashton Kutcher, it didn't. Have we, perhaps, found the real reason why Demi Moore and him called it quits?
