The third installment in one of the most punishingly difficult action franchises around is set to come out on March 20 of next year. But that's not all (did you really think it could be as simple as going to the store, laying down your $60, and playing a damn game?).

If you preorder Ninja Gaiden 3 from Gamestop, you get to play a demo of Dead or Alive 5 with access to the characters Hayabusa and Hitomi. If you preorder it from Amazon, you get to play as Ayane and Hayate. And if you purchase the collector's edition retail package for $99.99, which will include a soundtrack cd, artbook, figurine, and a better DOA5 demo, you get to choose from all four characters.

Releasing an early demo to certain customers is a great way to incentivize preorders, but we wonder how long it'll be until the demo is available to everyone. Does this make you more or less likely to pick up Ninja Gaiden 3 when it releases on March 20? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter or Facebook.
