Breaking news today arrived from the Web 2.0 Summit held at San Francisco. Jack Tretton, President and CEO of Sony announced that North America can finally get a release date for the Vita, too. Japan gets the handheld in December, and we'll have to wait a whopping two more months to get ours on February 22.
Regardless, we're excited to pick it up ourselves. Even if crummy Japan does get the earlier release date. (Ok, we may be speaking out of jealousy here.)
