Leica, like Apple, is one of those companies whose design almost trumps the capabilities of its products. Its cameras have a distinctive, iconic look that is hard to match or outdo. However, if you disagree and find the German company's style to be too bland, you can attempt to spruce one up via ColorWare.
With the Leica D-Lux 5 digital camera as a base, ColorWare will allow you to change the color of everything from the front, back, lens body, lens face, top, port door, hot shoe insert, and lens cap. The freedom of customization will cost you $1,200 ($400 if you already own a D-Lux 5 and mail it in).
