Jenni "JWoww" Farley may normally be known for her tannest-in-the-land skin, but apparently that may be coming back to bite her in the ass - legally, that is. JWoww is currently being sued by Phigogam, the company which owns tantans.com, a website which sells suntan lotion to the masses.
Apparently, back in 2007, the three owners of Phigogam approached JWoww and pitched the idea of having a line of suntan lotion with a celebrity face, AKA, her. Jenni and her then-boyfriend/manager, Tom Lippolis – you may remember him as the asshole on Jersey Shore who fucked up Jenni's apartment after she broke up with him while in Jersey – agreed and so the business deal began. They worked together to create an image for the bottle, and Lippolis even suggested that, to reach a wider audience, they pitch the idea to suntan lotion producers Australian Gold.
Now that Lippolis and Jenni have parted ways, that left the business deal in shambles and the guys over at Phigogam are a little peeved because they feel as if Jenni took the idea and the deal with Australian Gold for herself. They're suing her for copyright infrigement, unjust enrichment and breach of contract, and are seeking an injunction against the product and any profits from it.
Guess it's safe to say we won't be seeing any of this on the next season of Jersey Shore...
