One of the more significant bit players of the summer has been Wendi McLendon-Covey, who was a sleeper hit in the smash hit Bridesmaids. Her acting skills, which she honed on Comedy Central's Reno: 911, will be put to the test as she joins Joe Manganiello (True Blood) and Matthew Morrison (GLEE) in What to Expect When You're Expecting.

The comedy, which will follow several different couples, Love Actually-style, finds McLendon-Covey playing a close associate and friend of Jennifer Lopez's character. Manganiello, the swaggerful True Blood star will play another wolf-in-sheep's-clothing as a "single, carefree bachelor whose glamorous lifestyle is the envy of all the local dads," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Morrison will round out the growing cast as "Evan," who teams up with Cameron Diaz's character on a Dancing With The Stars reality show and gets her pregnant.

What to Expect features an already engorged cast that includes Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick, Chris Rock, Elizabeth Banks, and a gang of others. Director Kirk Jones (Nanny McPhee, Walking Ned Devine) is behind-the-camera, as Lionsgate looks to rush the preggo pic into theaters on, you guessed it, Mother's Day 2012.
