Does everyone know your name at the morgue? That's the question Ted Danson will get to answer this fall when he joins the cast of CSI, replacing the recently departed Laurence Fishburne.
Danson's character will arrive at the start of the twelfth season from Portland, Ore. “You can create a new character on the page, but until the perfect actor comes along and breathes life into it, it’s just words,” said executive producer Carol Mendelsohn. “We’re very excited Ted Danson came along.”
If you're a fan of Bored to Death worried about Danson's status on that show, don't be. A deal has been worked out so that Danson can remain a regular on both.
