"The Human Centipede II: Full Sequence" Director Responds To UK Ban

Tom Six takes offense to a ratings board taking offense to his sequel.

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has banned The Human Centipede II: Full Sequence,  Dutch filmmaker Tom Six's sequel to his  controversial 2009 horror flick The Human Centipede: First Sequence. Even more grotesque than the original, which featured a mad German doctor who kidnaps and surgically attaches three people ass-to-mouth to create the titular monstrosity, Full Sequence involves a sexual sadist who idolizes the doc, forms his own human centipede, and does awful shit like rape one of his victims with barbed wire. (The BBFC lays out in graphically detailed spoilers all that it objects to.)

Six responded to the ban at Empire Online, saying that The Human Centipede II is "art," "all fictional," and "a f***ing MOVIE." Additionally, he asks, "Shouldn't a good horror film be horrific?" What do you think? Are some films simply too sick to see the light of day?
