It struck everyone as a bit odd when LulzSec decided to retire on Saturday, just days after declaring war on national governments and big-time banks. Now, it seems, there may have been a reason other than heat from the Feds.

Rival hackers, “The A-Team”—yet another group with an affinity for ‘80s television—has just published what’s purported to be a definitive dossier on the Lulz crew, revealing names, aliases, family members, sexuality, chat logs, and even the group’s origin story. As suspected, most of the crew supposedly hails from the United Kingdom—LulzSec had previously claimed to have its entire 2011 census in their possession.

As for “The A-Team’s” motive for, in essence, putting an early end to LulzSec’s #AntiSec revolution, they wrote in a press release,  “From what we've seen these [lulzsec] kids aren't really that good at hacking.” They added, “Their releases have nothing to do with their goals or their lulz. It's purely based on whatever they find with their ‘google hacking’ queries and then release it.”
